Who We Are

Jon Jackson spent years working inside Ontario's utility system — learning how it works, and where it stops. He founded RJ Powerline Ltd. to go further: into the rural properties, farms, and remote acreages that utilities leave behind.

RJ Powerline is a fully insured powerline contractor based in Aylmer, Ontario. We've built a reputation for showing up fast, doing the job right, and charging a fair price — whether it's a planned construction project or a 2 a.m. emergency call after a storm.

I’ve always loved this trade. After years working inside the utility world, I knew there was a gap — rural property owners who needed real expertise but couldn’t get it. That’s why I started RJ Powerline.
— Jon Jackson, Owner

Why choose RJ Powerline

  • Three utility trucks working on power lines along a rural road, with orange cones placed around the work area, and leafless trees in the background.

    Faster emergency response

When your power goes out, every hour matters. We don't put you in a queue — we get a crew moving. Day or night, storm or not.

  • Logo for RJ Powerline Ltd. featuring a worker climbing a utility pole and lightning in the background, with the slogan 'Restoring Power. Restoring Communities.'

    Competitive, transparent pricing

No hidden fees. No corporate markup. We give you a clear quote upfront and stand behind it — because we want to earn your business long-term.

  • Two workers wearing orange safety vests and yellow hard hats standing next to a utility truck with an extended ladder. Orange cones are set up around the truck on the street, with a broken wooden board on the ground nearby. The workers appear to be working on power lines attached to a utility pole.

    Utility-trained crew

Our background is inside Ontario's utility sector. That means we bring the technical expertise of a large operator with the responsiveness of a local crew.

  • Electric utility workers in safety gear using a bucket truck to repair power lines on a utility pole during the day with a blue sky and some clouds.

    Local and owner-operated

Jon is on every job. You're not dealing with a dispatcher or a subcontracted crew — you're working directly with the person who built this company.
